Stylish English Field Gates by Naturae

Naturae’s stylish English field gates are the perfect blend of elegance and durability. When you lift one of our gates, you’ll immediately feel the difference compared to standard gates. Thanks to the reinforced top beam and the thickness of the wooden slats used, these gates can easily withstand the impact of livestock.

Our English gates are still crafted in the traditional way using mortise and tenon joints. Oak and robinia age in complementary tones, which is why Naturae gates are often paired with various types of fencing.

Dimensions of the English Gate

The height of an English field gate is 1.20 m. The width of each gate leaf ranges from 1.20 m to 3.60 m, increasing in 30 cm increments.

Gate Posts, Fittings, and Use

For this type of gate, we use untreated oak gate posts with a domed top. Dimensions: 0.15 x 0.15 x 2.50 m.

The gates can be installed as single or double versions, allowing for a maximum gate width of up to 7.2 m. Each gate comes with a matching set of hot-dip galvanized hardware:

• Single gate: set with drop bolt or spring latch

• Double gate: overlapping bolt that can be locked

We’re happy to pre-assemble the fittings for you, even though this is not standard. You can also opt for a gate holder to keep the gate securely open.
