Chestnut Gates, Handmade in Our Own Workshop

Complete your chestnut fencing with a matching Naturae chestnut gate. Our gates are handmade in our own workshop and specially designed to complement our chestnut fencing perfectly.

The pointed and debarked chestnut pales are carefully fixed to a strong wooden frame, creating a natural and harmonious combination of gate and fencing.

European Hardwood, Naturally Durable

Our chestnut gates are made from naturally durable European hardwood. Chestnut offers excellent natural durability, making it particularly suitable for long-term outdoor use without chemical treatment.

Over time, the timber naturally develops an attractive grey patina, allowing the gate to blend beautifully with the chestnut fencing and oak gate posts.

Two Models Available

Our chestnut gates are available with two different frame options:

• Round timber frame – a robust version suitable for intensive use
• Half-round timber frame – a lighter and more economical option for less intensive use

In both versions, the chestnut pales ensure that the natural appearance of the fencing continues seamlessly into the gate.

The most common dimensions are:

• 1.00 x 1.00 m
• 1.00 x 1.20 m
• 1.20 x 1.20 m

Gate Posts and Hardware

We offer matching untreated oak gate posts for our chestnut gates. The posts feature a shaped top and are available in the following standard size:

10 x 10 cm – length 2.00 m

Oak and chestnut both develop a natural grey patina over time, creating an attractive and harmonious combination.

Hinges and closing hardware are not fitted as standard. This allows you to determine during installation whether the gate should open to the left or right.

The required gate hardware is available separately and can also be fitted by us on request.

We also offer suitable hardware for double chestnut gates.
