This gate is also known as an emergency closure, wire gate, or wire latch, and is typically used in situations where the gate only needs to be opened a few times per year.
Integrating a Wire Gate into Your Fencing
An eccentric latch is barely visible when integrated into your fencing. This allows you to create a seamless passageway while maintaining the visual continuity of your fence. Thanks to the ground anchor and the tension loop, you can open and close the wire in just seconds — while keeping it under tension. The gate is secured with a padlock.
The pre-drilled holes in the wire gate make it easy to attach the tension wire. This type of wire is available in various heights and with different spacings between the horizontal wires. You can also easily drill an extra hole yourself if needed. This type of closure can also be used in combination with barbed wire.
Standard heights of 1 m, 1.2 m, and 1.4 m are compatible with various types of wire mesh. Is your wire at a completely different height? In that case, we can produce a custom eccentric closure to match your needs.
